Today was a great day in America. Our first black president was inaugurated for a second term. Even Fox News was stuck covering this huge event instead of lying, badmouthing and conspiracy mongering about the president like they do pretty much every other day. Any day Fox News shuts up and actually reports the news is a good day. Today was also a great day in America because we didn't have to watch that lying, flip flopping, empty suit Mitt Romney and his piece of shit sidekick Paul Ryan, who got booed today by the way, up there taking the oath of office. Any day we don't swear in George Bush's team of thieves and liars headed by a different bumbling boob is a good day. The Democrats would have won the House back in 2012 if you go by the popular vote - they got more votes than the Republicans did, but because the Republicans have been busy gerrymandering their districts to make it impossible for them to lose, Republicans and Tea Party extremists in Congress are bragging about some non existent mandate from the American people when the truth is they have the lowest approval rating of any Congress in history - even lower than root canals, cockroaches and communism! Unless we dump the lunatics, crooks and liars in 2014, seniors, students, women, the poor, the sick, and the working people of America are in jeopardy. Nothing good will happen until we get rid of this cancer on our country, that markets itself as patriots but is really the tip of the spear for corporate fascism ...
