Henna Treatment

Henna Treatment Video Clips. Duration : 6.25 Mins.

Blog: www.embrace-natural.blogspot.com Twitter: www.twitter.com/embrace-natural Lawsonia inerm, or Henna, is a plant tradionally used a natural colorant for the hair. Many naturals rave about henna treatments due to their strenghtening and conditioning properties; some even report a decrease in shrinkage (loosening of curl pattern over time). I followed the recipe from curlynikki.com: I mixed 100g jemila henna (more needed if hair is longer) from mehandi.com with 2 cups (2 bags) of warm green tea and 2 tablespoons of honey. Many recipes exist. I sat with the treatment overnight and after rinsing followed with a deep conditioning treatment (due to strengthening the hair is initially a little dry feeling). My personal results: Lighter reddish brown color Smoother hair cuticle (curls were slightly more defined without product) Shine Softness I will definately be trying another one because many people say the results increase over time!
